The Women of Washington was thrilled to host another tailgate, as the Commanders faced the Eagles on October 29th. The pre-game party was filled with food, drinks, giveaways, a DJ, and live music from the go-go group, Bela Dona.
The inaugural WOW EmpowerHer Market was a major success at the final home game of the season on January 7th. The Women of Washington facilitated nine female-owned and operated businesses, local to the DMV, which were a huge hit amongst Commanders fans.

The Women of Washington kicked off the season strong with a home-opener tailgate, filled with football, food, and fun! Over 300 women attended the event, showcasing their support for the burgundy and gold.
On March 16th, WOW celebrated Women's History Month with the Women of Washington Panelist event, following the 2024 WHM theme of "women who advocate for diversity, equity, and inclusion." Our very own Commanders in-game host, GeNienne Samuels, moderated a panel of four women making a profound impact within the sports industry; Sally Nnamani, Lois Cook, Lis Driscoll, and Chanelle Reynolds.
All proceeds of the event were donated to the Washington Commanders Charitable Foundation, assisting in providing experiences for the DMV community.
